Re-Inventing Friction To Control Objects

In 1996 I began improving closers for storm & screen doors.  To date, I own over 9 US Pats & Pats Pend some concerning a simple check mechanism: “The RedThing™”.  This little guy can generate incredible friction to hold a door opened, but I always felt that there was more!
